Wedding - Lisa and Brent

Well...I admit it. I've been a bit lazy in my off-season. I realized I never got around to blogging about this lovely, fun wedding of Lisa and Brent from this past December. These two are obviously best friends and are a truly genuine and kind couple. From the silver glittered Chucks worn by the bride down the aisle of Heinz Chapel in Pittsburgh, to the "Hogwarts" style portrait shoot they desired afterward in the Cathedral of Learning, to the delicious pizza buffet at their reception...this couple knew how to express themselves and how to have fun! We had a wonderful time with the two of you and wish you nothing but happiness! Oh...and a little birdie told me that you will be expecting a little bundle of joy this year!! Congratulations!!!

Engagement - Hannah and Daniel

Right from the first time we met, I could tell that Hannah and Daniel had something very special between them. I couldn't wait to photograph them together! We had a gorgeous afternoon to play in front of the camera, and the love between these two was easy to capture. I can't wait for your wedding guys! Here's the goods...

Engagement - Shana and Christopher

Shana and Christopher are one of those couples that when you look at them together, you see how obviously crazy they are for each other! They were such fun to photograph...the wedding is sure to be amazing! We had a nice time at Mingo Park and the sun was dancing around these too all day! Take a look...

Wedding - Jenna and Frank

Well, I'll admit, I've been a little lax on the blogging in this off season...I've been enjoying time with my two little boys and hubby, drinking hot chocolate and sharing snow covered giggles.

As I went back to look at the events I have photographed this past Fall, I was tickled at the thought of Jenna and Frank's wedding day!

This beautiful couple was surrounded by adorable little child faces and lots of supportive friends and family. The day was so beautiful and the sun poured down on us at the portrait session. The reception was lovely, highlighted by a serenade for their first dance by Dan Varner, from The Dan Varner Band to the gorgeous song "She Makes Me." It is the song featured in their video below.

I was so very humbled by the generosity and warmth shown to me from this family! Thank you so much for making me feel so very welcome. It was a honor to photograph this very special day for you!

Puppy Love

Since I always dedicate our posts to the many love birds that I have had the pleasure to photograph, I thought in honor of Valentine's Day, I would celebrate another relationship that many of our couples share. The relationship we have with our dogs. I've met some adorable pooches during shoots and, being a major dog person myself, I thought it fitting to include just a sampling of the precious pups that have come across my lens.

A Beautiful Year

As 2010 comes to a close and we look ahead to 2011, we wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we appreciate the opportunity to work with you and be the partners in the telling of your love stories. We could not have asked for a better year and are so very thankful for each and every one of you, your families and your friends. All of you have introduced more love, beauty and friendship into our lives, and for that we are grateful.

The excitement for the 2011 season is blossoming quickly...can't wait to share it all with you!
