Trash the Dress!! Alicia and Ron -- November 1, 2007

Well, in case you haven't heard, there's a trend sweeping the country called "Trash the Dress!"

I have been more than anxious to photograph one of these sessions. When Alicia approached me about it even before her wedding, we were both very excited about it.

The concept is this: You were so careful about not getting your dress dirty, the wedding is over, you'll never wear it again...and besides you're completely committed to your new hubby...why not have fun and express yourself in your gown!

This is precisely what Alicia, Ron, their two dogs, and I aimed to do at Raccoon State Park.

I hope that by seeing these photos, some of my other brides might embrace the concept and have a little fun!

There are so many it is hard to choose just a few for the blog!

Take a look...

Alicia, you know I love ya! What a blast this was and a priveledge to shoot. You both made this so much fun for me! Thank you!!

Engagement Session - Esther and Doug - October 21, 2007

Heinz Field and the Pittsburgh skyline were the backdrops for this fun and creative couple. They are looking forward to "Taking the Plunge" next year and commemorated that with a fun photo shoot. Go Steelers!

Engagement Session - Cheryl and Adam - October 21, 2007

Cheryl and Adam took us back to the place Adam proposed...up in the beautiful Laurel Mountains. This down to earth couple is obviously made up of two best friends. It was a nice day for smiles! And, I must say...I'm really enjoying when puppies join in on the fun!

Engagement Session -- Melissa and Jesse - October 7, 2007

Melissa and Jesse joined us at Mingo Creek Park for a quiet little shoot to celebrate their engagement and upcoming wedding. Take a look...

Amy and Rodney --- October 13, 2007

Amy and Rodney shared an affectionate, fun and beautiful October wedding day. The day began at Avery Methodist, followed by a portrait shoot at Washington and Jefferson College, Amy's alma mater. The reception was filled with loving friends and family and the celebration was lovely. Here are some photographs from the day...

Thank you, Amy and Rodney, for allowing us to share your excitement on this memorable day!
